Job summary

Synergy Nutrition in East Tamaki, Auckland, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for food production. You will process, package, and prepare small goods and meat products to spec, operate processing equipment, and maintain a clean, safe workplace.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with training and development opportunities. Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid NZ work visa, and you will be part of a Kiwi-owned company known for quality

Qualifications

  • Experience in food processing or manufacturing preferred.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Process and prepare a variety of small goods and meat products to established specifications.
  • Operate processing equipment, including cutting, trimming, grinding, and other production machinery.
  • Assist in the manufacture of sausages, bacon, cured meats, and other small goods products.
  • Accurately pack, label, and prepare products for distribution.
  • Adhere to food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Support team productivity and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Inventory control specialist for food production

Position Snapshot
  • Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
  • Based on Greenmount Drive, East Tamaki
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and prepare a variety of small goods and meat products to established specifications.
  • Operate processing equipment, including cutting, trimming, grinding, and other production machinery.
  • Assist in the manufacture of sausages, bacon, cured meats, and other small goods products.
  • Accurately pack, label, and prepare products for distribution.
  • Adhere to food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Support team productivity and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, or a similar production environment (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong work ethic and positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A reliable and punctual approach to work.
