Job summary

Canterbury District Health Board in Christchurch invites applications for an Interventional Cardiology Fellow. You will join a high-volume service delivering over 1000 PCIs annually, with 24/7 STEMI coverage and a thriving structural heart disease programme.

You’ll gain hands-on PCI experience, including complex LM stenting, bifurcation and CTO, plus OCT/IVUS imaging and FFR/CFR/iFR physiology. This role sits within an accredited advanced training department at Christchurch Hospital, alongside

Qualifications

• Must have completed advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP/MRCP or equivalent).
• Be available to commence August 2027.
• Be competent in diagnostic coronary angiography; PCI experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume service delivering over 1000 PCIs annually, including 24/7 STEMI coverage.
• Collaborate with Consultants in an accredited advanced training department and participate in after-hours roster.
