Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury invites applications for an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Christchurch Hospital. The role offers exposure to high-volume PCI and advanced imaging, with after-hours roster coverage and collaboration with consultants.

You'll have completed advanced training in Cardiology and be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand; eligibility to commence August 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Completed advanced training in Cardiology (FRACP, MRCP UK) or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of Specialist Training in Cardiology.
• Competent in diagnostic coronary angiography; PCI experience is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Participate in high-volume PCI service and 24/7 STEMI coverage.
• Collaborate with consultants in an accredited advanced training department.
• Contribute to after-hours roster covering cardiology admissions and inpatients.
