Job Description: Global leader in measurement instrumentation for the Food and Beverage and Water and Wastewater industries has an opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer to join our NZ team, based in Auckland.
About the role: We are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join our New Zealand team, based in Auckland. The role involves the implementation of our innovative technology product range designed to optimise the Chemical, Oil and Gas industry.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing technical expertise to customers in relation to the Endress+Hauser product range within Chemical, Oil and Gas industries
- Providing application based recommendations for flow, level, pressure, temperature and liquid analysis instruments across industrial applications
- Applying a strong understanding of complex chemical process systems within the Chemical, Oil and Gas industries
- Ensuring correct materials and equipment selection to meet all applicable standards and specifications
- Presenting to customers the best fit solutions for their business and industry plants
- Managing high value customer accounts contribution to ongoing revenue growth and retention
- Assisting the business in the achievement of targets in line with specific KPIs
- Active use of C-360 to plan and manage day-to-day activities and those most vital to an industry group
- Identifying new opportunities - projects and customers' needs in terms of chemical processes planning and design, including:
- Managing project opportunities in line with Standard 201
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasts by opportunity management
- Providing quotations, proposals, and delivery timeframes in accordance with stock availability
- Working in accordance with the spirit of Endress+Hauser and the Code of Conduct
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary level education (e.g. chemical engineering or similar science related subject)
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong technical background in process instrumentation
- Solid understanding of chemical processes relevant to the Chemical, Oil and Gas industry
- Ability to develop and successfully implement account plans, forecasts and reports
- Be determined, tenacious and own the position
- Possess a strong business commercial acumen and outcome focus
- Previous experience using a CRM tool would be highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
