Job summary

Endress+Hauser NZ in Auckland is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to join our team. You will provide technical sales support for chemical, oil and gas industries, coordinate with factories, logistics, and product management to support order fulfilment.

This is not entry level. The role requires a mature problem-solver with a strong background in process instrumentation and a solid understanding of chemical processes in our industry.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary education in chemical engineering or related science.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar internal sales/engineering role.
• Strong technical background in process instrumentation.
• Solid understanding of chemical processes in the Chemical, Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to customers on Endress+Hauser product range for Chemical, Oil and Gas.
• Offer application-based recommendations for flow, level, pressure, temperature and liquid analysis instruments.
• Apply understanding of complex chemical processes in applicable industries.
• Ensure correct materials/equipment selection to meet standards and specs.
• Present best-fit solutions to customers for their plants.
• Manage high-value accounts contributing to revenue growth and retention.
• Forecast opportunities and provide quotations aligned with stock availability.
