Job summary

Faith Landscape in Auckland is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen internal controls and risk management across its landscaping and construction operations. You will review financial and operational processes, identify weaknesses and recommend improvements for governance and efficiency.

The role demands hands-on analysis, professional judgement and the ability to monitor corrective actions in a growing business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Commerce, Business or related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in internal audit, risk assurance or financial control.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles, control frameworks and risk management.
• Experience reviewing financial records, operational procedures and business controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk-based internal audit programme covering financial, operational and administrative activities.
• Review internal controls for adequacy and effectiveness, including segregation of duties and approval processes.
• Conduct audits of landscaping and construction projects to assess compliance with budgets and procedures.
• Review procurement, supplier payments and subcontractor engagement for control weaknesses.
• Prepare clear internal audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations.
