Job summary

Serko is a global travel technology leader offering a paid 12-week Summer Internship Programme from 1 December 2026 to 19 February 2027. You will work with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, innovative and well-crafted user experiences for business travellers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (e.g., software engineering, computer science) and in the final year.
• Must have proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Nice to have: React, TypeScript or Bash experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development and testing of software applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and project planning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

About You

• A strong passion for learning and a desire to grow as a software engineer.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

• Currently enrolled and in final year studying in an Engineering program (e.g., software engineering, computer science) or a related field.
• Some particular technical skills we are looking for:
