Job summary

Cromwell Architectural Envelopes Limited is seeking two intermediate level Sheetmetal Fabricators and installers for standing seam roofing and related cladding work across sites in the South Island. The role requires a minimum of three years’ practical experience and involves on-site installation, workshop coordination, and adherence to safety practices.

You will fabricate, install, and supervise tasks, travel to project sites, and work within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years of demonstrable experience in a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install standing seam roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous materials.
• Organise flashing orders for workshop fabrication for site foreman.
• Position parts and subassemblies.
• Operate fabricating machines: rolls, shears, folding machine.
• Maintain positive, polite customer interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and managers to achieve task outcomes.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Contribute to Safety Management System and equipment inventory.
• Travel to project sites per H&S requirements.
• Supervise junior staff if required.
