JKAANZ Limited is seeking a leadership Interior Designer & Visual Artist to lead interior design concepts and visualization outputs for our New Zealand operations, while supporting business development to expand our client base internationally. This is a leadership role blending strategic design thinking with artistic vision to shape interiors and their experience through advanced visualization.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite; collaboration

Mansioni

• Lead interior design concepts, translating client briefs into design directions through sketching, zoning, and interior space planning; developing functional and aesthetic layouts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Contribute to strategic design planning, ensuring interiors and visualization outputs align with client expectations and project goals.
• Drive concept development and collaborate with project management and architects to integrate interiors into overall project delivery.
• Construct physical models to communicate design intent; develop mood boards, concept art, and design narratives that enhance storytelling and client engagement.
• Design bespoke artwork and niche products to enhance JKAANZ interior design portfolio. Curate palettes of finishes, furnishings, and lighting that align with client needs and project identity.
• Manage visualization outputs including high-quality 3D renders and digital models; develop layouts and client presentations.
• Support business development by preparing compelling design and visualization materials for both international and NZ clients.

The Interior Designer & Visual Artist will lead interior design concepts and visualization outputs for JKAANZ's New Zealand operations, while also supporting business development initiatives to expand the firm's client base internationally. This is a leadership role for someone who combines strategic design thinking with deep artistic vision, capable of shaping interiors and the way they are experienced through advanced visualization. This dual responsibility ensures both creative excellence and sustainable growth of the practice.

Hours of Work:40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with flexibility for international client engagement), Leave entitlements (annual leave, sick leave, public holidays).

Guaranteed Hours:40 hours per week minimum

Key responsibilities

Lead interior design concepts, translating client briefs into design directions through sketching, zoning, and interior space planning; developing functional and aesthetic layouts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Contribute to strategic design planning, ensuring interiors and visualization outputs align with client expectations and project goals.

About you

At least three years of relevant work experience, including experience in a leadership role.

Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and articulate interior design concepts clearly.

Understanding of sustainable design principles, including material selection, biophilic design, and environmentally responsible specification.

Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite).

Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers.
