Job summary

Watercare Services Limited in Auckland is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join the team at the Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant. You will ensure equipment is working properly, safely and efficiently, testing, calibrating, installing, repairing and inspecting control systems and monitoring devices.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining instrumentation, commissioning upgrades, responding to alarms, and keeping detailed calibration records.

Qualifications

• Proven background in instrumentation and control systems.
• National Certificate level 4 in Industrial Instrumentation and Control.
• Electrical Registration would be an added advantage.
• Ability to lead a team and work with technicians.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect control systems.
• Maintain instrumentation and control systems' functionality.
• Respond to alarms and notify supervisors of risks.
• Keep accurate calibration and test records.
