Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for our Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant. You will apply your instrumentation knowledge to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably across our water and wastewater systems.

Your day-to-day includes testing, calibrating, installing, repairing and inspecting control systems and monitoring devices, while maintaining calibration records and responding to alarms to protect community water quality.

Qualifications

• Proven background in instrumentation.
• National Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation and Control Level 4 or equivalent.
• Electrical Registration would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect control systems and monitoring devices.
• Maintain operational functionality of instrumentation and control systems.
• Respond to control system alarms and notify supervisors of at-risk systems.
• Maintain calibration/test records with accuracy.
