You will bring senior leadership experience in a NZ secondary school, be a strong communicator, and foster a collaborative culture, partnerships and Mātauranga Māori integration in learning and whānau events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of education of boys in a secondary setting.
• Senior leadership expertise within a New Zealand secondary school.
• Excellent communication and ability to set clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and give effect to the school vision and special character; focused on enhanced engagement and outcomes for all students
• Enable a collaborative, high-performing culture where staff feel empowered to do their best work in ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning
• Build and maintain strong community and sector partnerships, profiling HIBS locally, nationally and internationally
• Support the continued implementation of Mātauranga Māori in teaching and learning and promote whānau-inclusive events
