Hutt International Boys' School (HIBS) is seeking an inspiring and values-driven Principal to lead our school into its next chapter. Founded in 1991 and located in Upper Hutt, HIBS is a state-integrated school for around 650 boys in Years 7 to 13. In our short history we have built a reputation for genuine achievement, consistently recording some of the strongest NCEA pass rates in the country.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Principal will:
You will champion the special character of Hutt International Boys' School, bringing knowledge of, and passion for, the education of boys in a secondary setting, along with senior leadership expertise within a New Zealand secondary school.
A trusted, visible, values-led leader, you are also an excellent communicator, known for setting clear direction and bringing out the best in staff and students alike.
Agile in your leadership, you will be adept at leading through change when required, bringing rigour to solving complex problems, and a steady commitment to student wellbeing and success.
