Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking an Innovation Programmes Adviser to plan, coordinate and deliver programmes across the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). You will lead selected Māori-focused programmes, manage participant experiences, and build relationships with academics, facilitators and partners.

You will work with a team to grow the portfolio of innovation and entrepreneurship activities, ensuring inclusive participation and impactful outcomes across the university

Qualifications

  • Experience planning and delivering programmes and events in education, innovation, entrepreneurship or related fields.
  • Strong programme management and organisational skills to manage multiple activities, contributors and priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with Māori communities and understanding tikanga Māori.
  • Ability to engage with Pacific communities and support participation initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and participant engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, deliver and continuously improve assigned innovation and entrepreneurship programmes and events across the portfolio.
  • Manage practical elements of programme delivery, including participants, contributors, communications, schedules, logistics, resources and post-programme reporting.
  • Create high-quality participant experiences and help participants connect and progress through wider opportunities and pathways.
  • Work with academics, facilitators, practitioners and contributors to deliver engaging and effective programmes.
  • Take responsibility for selected Māori-focused programmes, cohorts and activities, including outreach and relationships.
  • Bring cultural capability to deliver Māori-focused programmes and support Māori participants across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other advisers and the wider team to deliver a connected programme portfolio.
