Job summary

The H W Richardson Group Ltd is seeking an Injury Management Lead to provide leadership and specialist expertise across injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes. This full-time role supports managers, Health and Safety, HR resources and our third-party administrator to achieve timely, sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.

The position is based at 25 Esk building in Invercargill’s CBD, offering a remuneration package aligned to experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' relevant experience in injury management or related field.
• Sound knowledge of ACC legislation and rehabilitation principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.

Job description

The H W Richardson Group Ltd is a family-owned business proudly based in Southland and operating throughout New Zealand and Australia. Our diverse business operates across Ready Mixed Concrete, Transport, Fuel Distribution, Contracting, Quarrying, Property and Tourism.

We are seeking an Injury Management Lead to provide leadership and specialist expertise across our injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work programmes.

This is an important role supporting managers, Health and Safety, HR resources and our third-party administrator to achieve timely, sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.

You will provide oversight and guidance across workplace injury claims, rehabilitation and ACC Accredited Employer Programme requirements, while supporting injury management practices across the Group.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What we're looking for

• Health, rehabilitation, injury management or related tertiary qualification.
• Minimum of five years' relevant experience in injury management, occupational rehabilitation, ACC claims management or a related field.
• Sound knowledge of ACC legislation, rehabilitation and recovery-at-work principles, with ACC Accredited Employer Programme experience highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to contribute to quality reporting, audit activity and continuous improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence using digital systems.
