Qualifications

• Full-time, permanent work rights in NZ.
• Full, clean drivers licence and a clean criminal record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit with a strong focus on health and safety.

• High attention to detail and pride in high standards.
• Confident using mobile apps and technology.
• Flexible to travel and stay away overnight if needed.
• Cleaning or hygiene experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the service vehicle to complete daily assignments.
• Clean washrooms and public toilets per job specs and client policies.
• Provide and maintain hygiene products (toilets, dispensers, sanitisers, bins, air fresheners).
• Address hygiene risks and client concerns to improve environments.
• Complete service reports documenting services performed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Monitor client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards.

Rentokil Initial is looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Hygiene Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be out in the field delivering hygiene and cleaning services, helping customers solve problems and keeping their sites running smoothly. A great fit for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and great customer interactions.

This role is Monday to Friday, covering all Auckland Region. We provide a work vehicle to support your daily travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload the service vehicle effectively to complete daily assignments
• Perform cleaning services in washrooms and public toilets according to job specifications and client policies
• Provide and maintain hygiene products, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins and air fresheners
• Address hygiene risks and client concerns to enhance work environments
• Complete service reports to document services performed
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times
• Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards

A Successful Candidate Will Have
