Job summary

Foodies is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our customer-focused IT Operations team, supporting 2000+ servers and a range of critical services. You will work with Citrix, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, endpoint security and other core technologies to keep systems ticking and customers satisfied.

You'll join a proactive team, expand our infrastructure with new technologies, and influence infrastructure strategy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in IT Infrastructure or similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Citrix, VMware, Enterprise Storage, Group Policy, Active Directory, Exchange, Anti-Virus, Skype, Proxy, Email Security, Commvault, Acronis, SCCM, and monitoring tools.
• Proactive problem-solving, willingness to challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and network architecture principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Intune experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT Infrastructure support, delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
• Administer, support, and maintain enterprise Infrastructure platforms, including Citrix, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, endpoint security, proxy services, email security, Commvault, SCCM, Acronis, and other core technologies.
• Manage and prioritise the Infrastructure support queue, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLA and KPI targets.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests in a timely and effective manner.
• Escalate major incidents and high-priority issues as required to ensure prompt resolution and minimise business impact.
• Contribute to end-to-end Infrastructure operational processes, reporting, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Provision, install, configure, operate, monitor, and maintain infrastructure hardware, software, and associated services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure services.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge management resources.
