Job summary

Ballance Agri-Nutrients in Invercargill is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a site-based role. You will maintain fixed plant assets and equipment through Preventative & Corrective maintenance, working with Reliability, Production and National Support teams to improve availability.

The ideal candidate has NZ Electricians Practicing License, industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, and a proactive approach to safety.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with Practicing License required.
• Experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing site.
• Ability to work unsupervised under pressure on equipment breakdowns.
• Applying precision maintenance to fixed plant assets via planned Preventative & Corrective maintenance.
• Work with Reliability, Production & National Support teams to improve availability and asset lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• NZ Registered with current NZ Electricians Practicing License.

• Applying precision maintenance tactics to maintain fixed plant assets & equipment through planned Preventative & Corrective maintenance.

• Structured technical problem-solving using root cause methodology.
• Knowledge of working with modern maintenance management systems.
• Positive collaborative attitude with strong safety standards.
• Clear professional communications in a loud environment.

Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 p/a depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
