Job summary

Pumptech Industrial Power and Control in Queenstown invites applications from a capable electrician or Year 2+ apprentice to join our team. On-the-job training is provided and you’ll work on industrial electrical projects with a focus on the water industry.

We cover Central Otago from Wanaka, offer a good remuneration package including a vehicle, medical insurance and a phone. Relocation support may be available for NZ-based candidates, ideally already living in Queenstown or Cromwell.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered electrician or Year 2+ apprentice.
• NZ work visa required and ability to work in NZ.
• Industrial electrical experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain industrial electrical systems.
• Assist in water-industry projects with on-site teams.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Want to live and work in the beautiful Southern Lakes district?

We are a Southern Lakes electrical firm based in Wanaka working primarily in all aspects of the industrial electrical industry with a strong focus on the water industry, we also do a small amount of commercial and residential electrical work.

We cover a large area in Central Otago and are looking for a capable, motivated, registered electrician or yer 2 and above apprentice to join our team.

On job training will be provided along with a good remuneration package.

Industrial/instrumentation experience is an advantage.

We enjoy celebrating the end of the week and endorse enjoying activities outside of work with our team often going mountain biking, waterskiing, or hunting together.

A relocation allowance may be available (only if you are already within NZ), however we would prefer a skilled sparky already living in Queenstown or Cromwell (or surrounds), as a lot of our work is in these areas. Must have a New Zealand work visa.
