Job summary

Persol is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a fixed night shift role in Cambridge, Waikato. You will perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance and fault finding on PLC-driven automation systems, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

We seek a candidate with an EWRB practising license, at least 3 years in industrial settings, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach. This permanent role offers stability and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Current EWRB practising license.
• At least 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with PLCs, automation and control systems.
• CMMS experience advantageous but not essential.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem solving.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Fault finding, root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• Working with PLCs, automation and control systems.
• Supporting electrical upgrade and continuous improvement projects.
• Managing critical electrical spare parts inventory.
• Ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained.
