You’ll carry out electrical installation work in industrial environments, diagnose faults, maintain switchboards and control systems, and complete testing and preventative maintenance in line with NZ electrical safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Electrician with current EWRB Electrical Practising Licence.
• Proven industrial electrical experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with industrial plant, machinery and control systems.
• Confidence reading electrical drawings and technical information.
• Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport.
• Strong commitment to safe, compliant and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work in industrial environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on plant and machinery.
• Maintain switchboards, control systems and electrical equipment.
• Complete testing, inspections and electrical repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to help minimise equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Complete work in line with NZ electrical and site safety requirements.
