Job summary

Blue Star Collard in Auckland is seeking a qualified Indigo/Digital Printer to join the Swanson Digital site. You will operate Indigo presses, manage colour, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

The role is full-time on a 3 x 12-hour shift pattern, offering exposure to the latest printing technology and a collaborative team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in printing OR at least 5 years’ Indigo printing experience.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with health & safety and quality systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate Indigo presses to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Machine setup, color management, and ensuring optimal printing performance.
• Produce high quality work with regular checks and task completion.
• Coordinate materials, inks and consumables to minimise downtime and ensure efficient make-ready.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and servicing tasks are performed and recorded.
• Liaise with the wider print team, maintaining safety and compliance on the floor.
