Qualifications

Experience operating mobile plant or heavy machinery (prior driving/machinery operation experience considered).
Sound mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
Ability to work outdoors/in a glasshouse environment across varying conditions.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices around machinery operation.

Responsibilities

Operate glasshouse mobile plant and machinery to move, transport, and position crops, materials, and supplies.
Calibrate and adjust equipment settings for varying crop and operational requirements.
Carry out land/site preparation, cultivation, and crop-handling tasks as required.
Conduct routine pre-start checks, servicing, and minor repairs on machinery.
Monitor machinery performance and report faults promptly.
Maintain accurate records of machinery use and production activities.
Work independently with minimal supervision and meet production demands.
Follow health and safety procedures and environmental standards.
