Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a motivated warehouse operator to join our Auckland area team. The role focuses on material handling, forklift operation, stock control, and accurate paperwork to support safe, efficient distribution.

You will follow site safety rules, perform loading/unloading, labeling, stocktakes, and data entry. Basic math and PC skills are essential, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required with 1–2 years experience desirable.
• Strong safety awareness and understanding of policies and procedures.
• Good communication and literacy skills.
• Basic mathematics skills required.
• Basic PC literacy and data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Forklift license required (minimum 1-2 years experience desirable).
• Follow all site safety requirements.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Fill in appropriate paperwork.
• Scan, locate and label indent & drum stock.
• Label making.
• Assist with Cyclic counts (stocktake).
• Strong safety awareness and understanding of policies and procedures.
• Good communication and literacy skills.
• Basic Mathematics.
• Basic PC skills.
• Complete required batch documentation records.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound quality decisions.
