Southern Cross Healthcare - Auckland, North Island
Ready to be part of a major transformation that will shape the future of healthcare? As our Implementation Specialist - Supply Chain Maturity, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a nationwide project that will strengthen the way Southern Cross Healthcare hospitals manage their supply chains.
Working alongside our project team, you'll help ensure our hospitals have the right products, in the right place, at the right time, supporting our clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. You'll become a go-to expert in supply chain processes, inventory management, and system improvements, while partnering with hospital teams to embed new ways of working and deliver lasting operational improvements.
This is a highly hands-on role, with regular time spent on-site at our hospitals in Hamilton, Tauranga and Wellington. You'll conduct stocktakes, improve inventory processes, analyse data, support product movements, and deliver engaging face-to-face training to Supply Chain Managers, Coordinators, clinical teams, and other hospital staff. You'll build strong relationships, champion continuous improvement, and help teams confidently adopt new processes and systems.
You'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact across our North Island hospitals. This is a full-time, six-month contract with regular travel, typically Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend work by prior arrangement. Assignments may involve spending 3-4 months on-site, followed by 1-2 weeks back at home.
If you thrive on variety, enjoy being hands-on, love working with people, and want to make a tangible difference to healthcare delivery, this could be the opportunity for you.
You'll need your own vehicle for the travel requirements, with mileage reimbursed for approved work-related travel.
