Job summary

Orion Health is seeking an Intermediate Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team in New Zealand. You will implement and configure our software solutions, work with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, and troubleshoot across applications and databases.

You will use SQL, JavaScript and integration technologies to support implementations and data exchange, while building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software implementation or similar technical role.
• Solid understanding of SQL, databases and software technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript or similar languages.
• Experience troubleshooting software applications and working through technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills engaging with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge.
• Experience with healthcare systems, HL7 or FHIR is a bonus.

We're looking for an Intermediate Implementation Consultant to join our team at Orion Health!

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and configuring our software solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of healthcare technology projects, using your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, support systems integration and deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys a mix of hand‑on problem‑solving and customer interaction, and is looking to further develop their expertise in health technology.

What you'll be doing:

About You

We're looking for someone who's technically capable, enjoys getting to the bottom of a problem and is equally comfortable working with technology and people.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, systems integration or a similar technical role.
• A solid understanding of SQL, databases and software technologies.
• Some experience with JavaScript or similar programming or scripting languages.
• Experience troubleshooting software applications and working through technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging directly with customers and stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership and use initiative to solve problems.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to share knowledge with others.
• Experience with healthcare systems, HL7, FHIR or other integration technologies would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Above all, you'll be a practical problem-solver who enjoys understanding how things work, isn't afraid to ask questions and can build positive relationships with customers.
