Job summary
Selwyn District Council's ACLL Team is seeking a Learning and Programme Coordinator to deliver lifelong learning programmes across the library network, maintain people insights, and support capability development.
You will collaborate with presenters and community experts, guide teams, and help create engaging learning experiences that meet diverse community needs.
This full-time role based at Te Ara Ātea in Rolleston involves flexible hours and occasional cross-site work across the district.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years in GLAM or learning sectors
- Coaching and mentoring experience
- High digital literacy with diverse tools & platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong creative and critical thinking; proactive problem-solving
- Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and applying its principles
- Experience developing and delivering learning programmes
Responsibilities
- Deliver impactful lifelong learning programmes across the library network
- Maintain people insights, data and systems
- Collaborate with presenters and community experts
- Support teams to deliver high-quality programmes
- Contribute to capacity building and organisational learning
- Support across Te Ara Ātea and other district facilities
