Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Clinical Administration Support at Nelson Hospital. This permanent part-time role (0.6 FTE) provides essential administrative support to consultants and clinical teams, guiding patients from referral and appointment through treatment and ongoing care.

You will maintain accurate patient information in our clinical systems, handle transcription of medical documentation, and thrive in a detail-focused, patient-centred environment with a supportive team.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer literacy.
• Demonstrate empathy, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Have proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload effectively.
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute or more is essential.
• A computer skills assessment may be required.
