Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Whangārei Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Level 2 ICU team. You will provide holistic, high-quality nursing care in consultation with patients and families, under Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and contribute to ongoing nursing development within the service.

This role includes clinical duties in a busy ICU/HDU, potential involvement with the flight retrieval service run with NEST, and opportunities to advance with post-graduate ICU

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current APC
Post-graduate qualification in ICU Nursing
Recent clinical experience in an acute setting
Experience with CRRT and complex ventilation is desirable

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care in partnership with patients and families within the context of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Maintain and enhance nursing standards and contribute to service development
Work as an effective member of the wider organisation
Join and support the flight retrieval service as part of ICU operations
