We are looking for Registered Nurses who are interested in a career in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and who are committed to providing quality care to our ICU patients. We have a diverse patient group and provide care for a variety of diagnoses in both adults and children requiring intensive care, including those following cardio thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, spinal and trauma.
Shifts are 12 hours (8 hours during orientation) Day (6:40am start) and Night (6:40pm start), Monday to Sunday.
We currently have fixed-term positions available due to parental leave and permanent positions available.
Our permanent positions are between 0.6 - 0.9FTE (24 to 36 hours a week) and our fixed-term positions are 0.6 - 0.9FTE (24 to 36 hours a week) with end dates between March 2027 and October 2027.

Our Intensive Care Unit is a tertiary level 3 ICU based in the Waipapa building and currently resourced for 25 beds. We are a multidisciplinary team who see over 1,800 patients annually.
