Job summary

Integrated Maintenance Group in East Tamaki, North Island is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team. The role involves manufacturing, servicing, repairing, and commissioning hydraulic and mechanical equipment across on-site and workshop settings.

We offer a permanent, full-time position with competitive hourly rates ($38.00-$44.00) and a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant hydraulic servicing/repair experience.
• Knowledge of major brand hydraulic components.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and drawings.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, troubleshoot, service, and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Manufacture, assemble, test, and commission hydraulic equipment.
• Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems with or without schematics.
• Read and interpret hydraulic drawings including various circuit types.
• Operate and change accumulators safely.
• Use hydraulic test, flushing, filtration, and purification equipment.
• Install hydraulic hoses, pipes, tubing with correct sizing and flow.
• Complete job cards and timesheets daily.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to maintain high service standards.
