Job summary

A leading engineering company in East Tamaki is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate between $38.00 and $44.00, based on experience, with guaranteed minimum hours of 40 per week. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, servicing hydraulic systems, and ensuring effective communication with customers. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience and a trade qualification. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in hydraulic servicing or mechanical equipment.
• Proven knowledge of major brand hydraulic components.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, troubleshoot, service, and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Manufacture, assemble, test, and commission hydraulic equipment.
• Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems.
