Job summary

Roading and Building Recruitment in Christchurch seeks an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician for a permanent, full-time role. You will service, diagnose, repair and maintain hydraulic equipment, ensuring quality workmanship and strong customer service.

Our client is a ell-established, family-run businesslooking for an experienced and qualified Hydraulic Service Technician to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Offering a multitude of hydraulic solutions and services to their customers, this business has a solid team and is built on trusted relationships, solving problems and exceptional service. You will service, repair and fault-find hydraulic equipment, with some call-outs (paid call-out allowance) and over time available due to growing demand. As they are currently growing, they are looking for the next Technician to join them!

About the role:

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems. You'll be working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer service.

About you:

We're looking for someone who has:

• Relevant Hydraulics qualification/trade certification
• Previous experience as a Hydraulic Service Technician
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good English speaking and written communication skills
• A full Class 1 NZ driver's licence
• A strong work ethic and professional attitude
• A commitment to health and safety
