Octave is seeking a proactive Systems Support Engineer to join our team in Wellington. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues, supporting a critical CAD platform and related systems, and working directly with users onsite.

You'll cover Windows environments, system administration, data/log analysis, and 24/7 on-call readiness. Travel between customer locations is occasionally required, with a strong focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualificações

• Experience navigating Windows Server environments and standard desktop operating systems.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, backup, and observability tools.
• Willingness to travel and participate in a 24/7 on-call roster.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite support for mission-critical applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, database, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Support Windows environments, system administration activities, and application operations.
• Analyse application logs, system behaviour, and data to identify and resolve issues.
• Implement system updates, configuration changes, and operational improvements.
• Build strong relationships with end users and customer stakeholders.
• Help maintain system reliability in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Participate in an on-call roster and occasional travel between customer locations.
