Job summary

The organization in New Zealand is seeking a Senior AI Developer to join an engineering team delivering production-ready AI-powered solutions using .NET and Azure.

Responsibilities include building AI-enabled apps, APIs, and integrations, plus frontend work with modern JS frameworks. Hybrid work setup with two days WFH weekly is offered. Christchurch office located with parking and modern tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with hands-on C# and .NET.
• Proven AI-enabled application experience using LLMs or AI APIs.
• Solid Azure experience, including App Services and Functions.
• Experience building APIs and service integrations with existing systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered applications, agents and integrations using LLMs and AI APIs.
• Design and maintain scalable C#/.NET applications on Azure.
• Develop reusable APIs connecting AI capabilities to business systems.
• Contribute to frontend work with React/TypeScript as needed.
• Collaborate with teams to drive adoption of AI development practices.
