Job summary

AGB Stone in Auckland is seeking an Internal / External Sales Representative to turn quotes into orders. You’ll read kitchen plans, interpret technical specs, and prepare accurate quotations for customers from enquiry to secure business.

You’ll work across both sides of sales, supporting customers and quoting internally, while also getting out into the market to meet customers face-to-face. Spend 1–2 days weekly in the field building relationships and supporting the Auckland team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read kitchen plans and interpret technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
• Willingness to spend 1–2 days per week in the market meeting customers.
• Strong communication skills and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations.
• Read and interpret kitchen plans and technical specifications.
• Review quotes for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with customers to understand exact needs.
• Follow up quotes and opportunities beyond initial contact.
• Provide product, pricing and technical support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Spend 1–2 days per week in the field meeting customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new ones.
• Maintain structured CRM updates and keep opportunities current.
• Collaborate with the Auckland team to deliver excellent customer experience.
