Job summary

Aquaheat Facility Services, a premier New Zealand owned company, is seeking a reliable full-time HVAC Mechanical Service Technician to undertake maintenance and repair tasks for commercial and industrial properties across Dunedin.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years post-trade experience in HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical maintenance, is well-organised, safety minded and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 3 years post-trade experience in HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical maintenance.
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repair tasks for commercial and industrial properties in Dunedin.
• Ensure safety and quality in all HVAC/mechanical work.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet contracted service levels.

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable full time, permament,HVAC Mechanical Service Technicianto undertake maintenance and repair tasks for various commercial and industrial properties across Dunedin.

This is a great opportunity for someone possessing both technical and all-round skills with experience over a wide range of tasks related to HVAC and mechanical services across various buildings and facilities. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina is valued greatly in this role. This Role and Branch will be a new location for Aquaheat Facility Services creating significant opportunities for the right candidate to champion this new branch and transition into a supervisory or management position with the expected growth off the back of secured contracts.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised, have a genuine belief in providing excellent customer service and be highly motivated with a "can do" attitude.

The person we seek will have the following skills and experience:

• 3years post tradeexperienced in a HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical maintenance AND/OR relevant qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration and Electrical
  
• Well organised and capable of multi-tasking
• Be well presented and have a high degree of self-motivation
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• A passion for maintaining a safe work environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
