Job summary

BestStart is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our national People & Culture team. The role supports centres across the Midland region and can be based in Hamilton or Auckland, offering a full-time 40-hour workweek.

You’ll handle day-to-day HR tasks including contracts, records, reporting, queries and policy support, contributing to a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service to staff and centres.

This role supports centres across our Midland region, from Te Kauwhata to Palmerston North, and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career.

About the Role

This role is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week, it can be Hamilton or Auckland based.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day HR support across a range of areas, including:

• Preparing employment contracts, variations and HR letters
• Maintaining accurate employee records
• Providing HR reporting and administrative support
• Responding to general HR queries
• Supporting HR policies, processes and compliance

About You
