Job summary

Fullers is seeking an HR professional to provide day-to-day HR guidance, support investigations and disciplinary matters, and assist with recruitment during busy periods. You will navigate HRIS (BambooHR) and employment policies while engaging with unions and observing collective bargaining activities at times.

The role requires adapting styles to influence stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with writing and interpreting employment agreements and policies.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (BambooHR is ideal).
• Exposure to employment relations and collective bargaining activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice across the business.
• Assist with employment investigations and disciplinary meetings.
• Produce reports and support recruitment tasks, especially during busy summer periods.
• Engage with union engagement and observe collective bargaining activities when required.

Reporting to theHR Manager, this newly created role will provide you with a supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and exposure to a wide range of HR matters.This will see youproviding day to day HR advice, assistingwith employment investigations/disciplinarymeetings, reporting, alongside supporting with recruitment related tasks,predominantlyduringour busysummerrecruitment season.

Withmuchofourbusinessoperatingunder threeCollectiveAgreementsacross twounions, thisroleoffersvaluable exposureto unionengagement.There willalso beopportunities to support andobservecollectivebargaining activities,providing excellentdevelopmentin this area.

About you

We’reseekingago-getterwith the ability to implement ideas and suggestions effectively by pulling in support when needed. Due to the hybrid nature of therole,you’llhave a keen eye for detail with a sense of urgency,workingquickly and efficiently.

To set you up for successyou’llhold a minimumtwoyears’relevantHRexperience in a fast-pacedenvironment. This includes theadaptabilitytoflex your style to influence and achieve positive outcomes and actionswith all your stakeholders.

As an ideal candidate for our role, you willpossessthe following;

• A love of the water and pride in Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf
• Experiencenavigating HRIS systems (BambooHR ideal)
• Knowledge of NZEmployment law and how thisis applicableto our company
• Experience with writing and interpreting employment agreements and policies
• Ideally hands onexposure in employment relations
