Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join our luxury hotel team in Auckland. This full-time role requires full availability and supports the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Cordis standards.

You will lead by example, coordinate with Room Attendants, and deliver exceptional service with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in hotels.
• Strong leadership skills for guiding a team.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with problem-solving ability.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations.
• Inspect rooms, including VIPs, for cleanliness.
• Coordinate daily room assignments and ensure timely availability.
• Train and coach Room Attendants.
• Maintain communication across departments.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. You will support the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping department, guide and motivate our Room Attendants, and ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail, leadership and commitment to exceptional service will help us deliver memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Cordis standards.
• Conducting room inspections, including VIP rooms, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinating daily room assignments and monitoring progress to ensure rooms are ready for guests on time.
• Supporting, training and coaching Room Attendants to maintain service standards and develop their skills.
• Maintaining effective communication between Room Attendants, desk control and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitoring team performance, productivity and room allocations, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Taking a hands-on approach and assisting with room cleaning and other housekeeping duties when required.
• Ensuring compliance with hotel procedures, health and safety requirements and housekeeping quality standards at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and support a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong spoken and written English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and the confidence to take initiative and resolve problems independently.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
• Must have full flexibility to work a rotating roster across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays.
