Crowne Plaza Auckland is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to keep guest rooms pristine and create memorable stays. You will join a dynamic team in a 4.5-star hotel located in Auckland's CBD, delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest service.

This role suits physically capable individuals with a flexible weekend schedule, who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and supporting other departments to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a physical role (standing for long periods, moving around the hotel)
• Willingness to work weekends or public holidays
• Caring, positive attitude towards guests and genuine guest interactions
• Contributes to a positive guest experience through proactive service

Responsibilities

• Make sure rooms are kept to the highest standard and create memorable experiences for guests
• Provide outstanding guest service and assist guests with requests and directions
• Keep supervisor updated on room status and report repairs as needed
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required
• Monitor supplies and amenities and strive to minimise waste
• Take action and log any lost and found property
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service
• May assist with deep cleaning projects

Join the growing and dynamic team at Crowne Plaza Auckland as a Housekeeping Attendant. You'll make sure our rooms are always at their best and ensure that our guests have an amazing and special experience during their stay. Our Housekeeping department is the heart and center of the hotel, and you could be joining a global company and just one day be working at one of our 7,000 hotels in over 100 countries around the world

Key responsibilities

Make sure our rooms are always at their best and create special and memorable experiences for guests

Provide an outstanding level of guest service - you'll be happy to help with guest requests and directions.

Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.

Follow established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed.

Keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimise waste.

Take action and log any lost and found property.

Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimise waste within all areas of housekeeping

Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service

May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects

About you

Ability to work in a physical role as you'll be on your feet most of the day

Flexibility to work weekends or public holidays.

Being caring, wanting to make a positive difference, and building genuine connections with guests

Having the knowledge and skills to perform your role, and giving guests a positive experience during their stay.
