Toi Ohomai in Rotorua is seeking a reliable Part-time Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards across our holiday park. You will clean accommodation units, communal facilities, guest amenities, and public areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent customer service, with weekend and peak holiday period availability. In-house training is provided to support you in delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Accommodation Cleaning and servicing cabins, motel units, glamping, and guest facilities.
• Change bed linen and make beds to company standards.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms; vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust.
• Replenish guest supplies and consumables; report maintenance promptly.
• Maintain communal facilities clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the day.
• Assist with stock control and support the wider operations team as required.

We require a Housekeeper to join our wonderful existing team to help be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout the holiday park. This includes cleaning accommodation units, communal facilities, guest amenities, and public areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, reliability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accommodation Cleaning
• Clean and service cabins, motel units, glamping accommodation, and other guest facilities.
• Change bed linen and make beds to company standards.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all accommodation areas.
• Replenish guest supplies, toiletries, and consumables.
• Check accommodation for maintenance issues and report them promptly.
• Clean and sanitise shared bathrooms, showers, kitchens, laundries, and recreational areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Ensure communal facilities are clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the day.

Guest Service

• Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards guests.
• Respond politely to guest requests and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

General Duties

• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organised manner.
• Assist with stock control and notify supervisors when supplies require replenishment.
• Support the wider operations team as required.
• Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects and seasonal preparation work.
