Job summary

Alpine Pacific Holiday Park in Kaikoura is seeking a part-time Host / Housekeeper to keep cabins, facilities and shared spaces clean and welcoming for guests. The role includes morning shifts starting at 9:30 am, 3–4 hours per day, 4–5 days per week, with extra hours available for reception and laundry.

On-site accommodation is offered, and a good level of English along with a positive attitude are essential. A valid New Zealand passport or work visa is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New Zealand passport or work visa.
• Good level of English and a positive attitude.
• Experience in cleaning and housekeeping is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Keep cabins, facilities and shared spaces clean and welcoming.
• Assist with laundry and basic reception tasks when needed.

About Kaikoura Located just north of Christchurch on the stunning South Island coast, Kaikoura is famous for its ocean views, wildlife, and outdoor adventures — from whale watching and fishing to surfing and hiking.

Job Details

• Start date: As soon as possible
• End date: End of April 2027
• Hours: 3–4 hours per day, 4–5 days per week (extra hours available if could do some reception and laundry)
• Start time: 9:30 am (morning shifts, including some weekends)
• On site camping site or cabin&caravan provided

Your Role

You’ll help keep our holiday park clean, tidy, and welcoming — including cabins, facilities, and shared spaces. Occasionally, there may be opportunities for extra hours at reception for the right person.
