Job summary

Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking a Pharmacy Distribution team member to join our hospital pharmacy service. You will ensure medicines are safely and efficiently supplied to clinical areas across our hospital sites, working across Christchurch Hospital, Burwood Hospital and Hillmorton Hospital.

The role offers variety in a fast-paced environment, with training provided and opportunities to build skills within the service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy required.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong teamwork skills and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy stock requirements to hospital areas.
• Prepare orders using bar code scanning, stock selection, checking and packing.
• Deliver orders across hospital sites.
• Maintain stock levels in a designated clinical area.
• Answer enquiries from wards and other pharmacy staff.
