Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites an experienced Non-Clinical - Project Manager to lead major change projects across our district. You will drive business and workforce initiatives, establish governance, manage budgets and risks, and ensure sustainable adoption into daily operations at Wellington-based sites.

You will partner with clinical and enabling-service teams, applying strong stakeholder management, analytical mapping, and a commitment to equity and safety to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Substantial experience delivering complex projects and organisational change in a large, complex environment.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience; recognised project, change or continuous-improvement certification is advantageous.
• Strong capability across scope, governance, budgets, procurement, suppliers, risk, benefits realisation and transition into business as usual.
• The ability to build trusted relationships, navigate competing interests, constructively challenge and negotiate, and communicate clearly at all levels.
• Strong analytical, process-mapping and documentation skills, sound judgement, commercial awareness, and a commitment to equity, safety and continuous improvement.
• Health-sector experience would be advantageous.
