Job summary

Fulton Hogan seeks an experienced Heavy Haulage Transport Driver for night shift in Auckland. You will operate purpose-built trucks to move oversized loads, ensuring load security, vehicle checks and compliant route planning. Work ties with dispatch, customers and site teams to deliver safely and on time.

Night shift runs 6pm–6am, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism. Training and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Class 4 or 5 licence with clean driving history.
• Proven heavy haulage or specialised transport experience.
• Strong understanding of load restraint and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy haulage trucks and trailers safely and professionally.
• Move oversized/overweight loads across Auckland and surrounding areas.
• Load, restrain and secure freight to meet safety standards.
• Perform pre-start checks and vehicle inspections.

From heavy machinery and industrial equipment to large structures and infrastructure components, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex transport movements that keep major projects running.**Mō te tūranga | About the role**As part of our specialist Heavy Haulage team, you’ll operate purpose-built trucks and trailers to move over dimension and specialised freight that standard transport services can’t handle.
