Job summary

Qualifications

• NZQA Level4 or equivalent required.
• Diesel mechanic/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform maintenance.
• Experience with construction/forestry machinery preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy plant and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and equipment failures.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Repair and replace faulty components.
• Investigate complex issues and determine solutions.
• Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
