Job summary

Olympus Corporation is seeking a Customer IT Support Specialist to join the Medical team, based in Albany, Auckland or at the Notting Hill head office. You will provide first and second-level support across healthcare software, imaging, and clinical ICT solutions, delivering expert troubleshooting and strong customer service.

In this role you will handle inbound/outbound communications, perform remote administration and health checks, and contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge

Qualifications

• Qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline (Diploma or Bachelor's).
• Minimum 2 years in technical support, application support or systems support with software/healthcare IT providers.
• Experience providing remote support via phone, remote access and service-management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting across software, hardware and networking environments.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills for technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for Olympus clinical software, imaging, and healthcare ICT solutions.
• Support customers via inbound/outbound phone, email and case-based interactions.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, networking, and integration issues via remote access tools.
• Monitor and manage service requests and incidents to meet SLAs and customer expectations.
• Perform remote system administration, software updates, health checks, proactive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to knowledge management, customer education, and change-management activities.
