Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a detail-focused Contracts Liaison Coordinator to support the effective management of Primary and Community service agreements across National or Regional teams. You will coordinate end-to-end contractual arrangements, create and maintain agreements, and monitor renewals with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will work with Finance, Legal, Sector Operations, Planning, Funding & Outcomes teams and health providers, applying sound judgement

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative environment with processes guided by legislation, policy or regulatory requirements.
• Experience creating and maintaining agreements, contracts or similar documentation within a contract management system or database.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to use sound judgement, follow established processes and escalate when needed.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a self-directed and team environment.
• A relevant qualification or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end management of high-quality contractual arrangements across National or Regional teams.
• Create, maintain and complete agreements in contract management systems.
• Coordinate provider contacts and signatories, maintain contract databases.
• Monitor renewal, uplift or exit of agreements.
• Provide guidance on contract processes, documentation, service specifications and system requirements.
• Support a range of contract administration activities and drive continuous improvement.
