Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is recruiting an Account Executive for Health in the New Zealand Public Sector to drive cloud adoption across health organisations including Health New Zealand, Accident Compensation Corporation, and related bodies.

You will own strategic health sector accounts, develop territory plans, and collaborate with Solutions Architects to tailor AWS solutions that improve patient outcomes, data security, and procurement efficiency within New Zealand's public health system.

Qualifications

5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.
Experience in sales, inside sales, or business development.
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels.
Experience working with government officials and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

Own and manage relationships with key health sector accounts across New Zealand's public sector.
Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligning AWS solutions with health outcomes and digital transformation goals.
Drive revenue growth through new workload acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects and AWS service teams to design healthcare-focused solutions.
Lead customer engagement in proof-of-concepts and pilots, articulating value propositions for patient outcomes and cost optimization.
Build relationships with C-level executives and IT leaders within health organisations.
Develop territory plans and accurate forecasts for the health sector portfolio.
